Children & Youth Choirs

The Children and Youth Choir program at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church offers the children and youth of our congregation (grades K-12) opportunities to lead worship through music. This program gives a foundation in Christian education, choral singing, hymn singing, and music literacy, enhanced by movement, games, and various instrumental activities. Rehearsals take place once a week throughout the school year, and opportunities to lead Sunday morning worship take place once a month. Special services which include more music and leadership include Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, and Good Friday.

Summer Choir

Each summer from mid-June through the beginning of September, all singers ages 12+ are invited to come to church any Sunday at 9:00 a.m. for a short rehearsal in the choir loft, then stay and sing for the 10:00 a.m. service. Summer choir is simple (one anthem, hymns, and a closing response), and informal (no robes). No long-term commitment; no need to sign up in advance.
