Caring Ministries Symposium

The Caring Ministry team at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church invites you to our annual Caring Ministries Symposium, as we devote a morning to thoughtful reflection on The Universal Experience of Loss & Grief.

Grief touches every life—sometimes through personal loss, sometimes through broader societal or communal pain, and often in ways that are ambiguous or anticipatory. Together, we will explore how grief shapes our inner lives, our relationships, and our shared world.

The morning will include a screening of the award-winning documentary Voices of Grief: Honoring the Sacred Journey, followed by a guided conversation and time for reflection. This gathering is designed to offer a compassionate, supportive space where participants can listen, learn, and share—honoring both the realities of loss and the hope of healing.

All are welcome, whether you are carrying fresh grief, supporting someone else, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of this universal human experience.
