Woodmere Art Museum Trip

The Senior Adult Council invites BMPC members and friends to enjoy a special morning at the Woodmere Art Museum with a one-hour, docent-led tour of the newly opened Francis M. Maguire Hall for Art and Education. BMPC members and friends of all ages are warmly welcome.

Located in Chestnut Hill, these galleries showcase contemporary art in Philadelphia and feature works from American Impressionism, figurative art, modernism, and jewelry. The museum has been described as an “exuberantly eclectic showcase of Philadelphia artists,” offering a rich and engaging experience for visitors of all backgrounds.

Following the tour, participants are invited to continue the conversation over lunch (at your own expense) at Scoogi’s Italian Kitchen and Bar, located about 10 minutes away by car.
