Portrait Unveiling of Agnes Norfleet

Sunday, November 1
11:15 a.m. | Congregational Hall

BMPC is delighted to welcome back the Rev. Dr. Agnes W. Norfleet, who served as Pastor and Head of Staff for 13 years. During her tenure, Agnes shared her vision, preaching, leadership, and deep faith with this community, helping to strengthen BMPC in ways that continue to bear fruit today.

Her years of ministry included a significant transformation of the BMPC campus, including the addition of the Atrium and renovation of the Education Building. Through her encouragement of faithful stewardship, administrative leadership, and the loving support of her husband, Larry, Agnes helped guide BMPC through an important chapter in its history. She was also the first woman to serve as Pastor and Head of Staff, making her leadership a significant part of BMPC’s story.

On November 8, Agnes will preach during the 10:00 a.m. service. Following worship, she and Larry will unveil an oil portrait of Agnes that will join the portraits of five of BMPC’s former pastors. The portrait will eventually hang on the hallway wall shared with the BMPC Gallery, honoring Agnes alongside those who have helped shape the life of this congregation.

Join us for this special morning as we welcome Agnes back to BMPC, hear her preach once again, and celebrate her lasting legacy with the portrait unveiling and reception in Congregational Hall.
