PNC Nominations
In the Presbyterian Church (USA), members of the congregation are given the privilege and responsibility to elect individuals to serve as a Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC). The PNC is charged with searching for and recommending a candidate to the congregation for election as its next Senior Pastor. The Nominating Committee of our church is responsible for proposing a slate of members for the PNC and will accept your recommendations from September 27 through October 18. Once finalized, the nominees for the PNC will be presented to the Congregation for election. Thank you for your help in this important task!
Requirements:
- BMPC member for at least three years
- Regular participation in the life of the church, faithful stewardship, and consistent service as a volunteer
Each Nominee Should Be a Church Member Who Is:
- Knowledgeable about BMPC and the community
- Familiar with Presbyterian theology and government
- Able to make a significant commitment of time, energy, and wisdom
- Willing to accept the role as a shared task of spiritual discernment
- Open-minded
- Able to honor confidentiality

Please submit your recommendations to the 2026 Nominating Committee by Sunday, October 18.
Paper nomination forms are also available in the Narthex and at the Reception Desk in the Ministries Center.
