Advent invites us to prepare our hearts for Christ's coming with hope, peace, joy, and love. Yet for many, the holiday season can also bring grief, loneliness, uncertainty, or weariness. The Longest Night service offers a sacred space to acknowledge these feelings and find comfort in the promise of God's presence.

As the winter solstice approaches, when the night is at its longest, we will turn to scripture, prayer, music, and candlelight to remember that God's light shines even in the darkest places of our lives. This quiet, contemplative service makes room for lament and remembrance while reassuring us that we do not walk through difficult seasons alone.
