Confirmation Sunday

Sunday, May 17 | 10:00 a.m. | Sanctuary

On Confirmation Sunday, during the 10:00 a.m. worship service, Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church will celebrate a meaningful milestone in the faith journeys of our 2025–2026 confirmation class as they are confirmed and publicly affirm their commitment to the Christian faith and the life of the church.

Confirmation is an important step for these young people—a time to reflect on God’s presence in their lives, deepen their understanding of faith, and claim for themselves the promises first made at baptism. Over the past year, members of the class have engaged in learning, discussion, service, and spiritual formation as they explored what it means to follow Christ and be part of Christ’s church.

This special service marks both a culmination and a beginning: the completion of their formal confirmation journey and the start of a new chapter of active participation in the life of the congregation.

Confirmation mentors, family members, friends, and the entire congregation are invited to join in this celebration and surround these confirmands with encouragement and prayer. Their profession of faith is a powerful reminder of God’s ongoing work in the lives of young people and of our shared calling to nurture and support one another in discipleship.

We hope you will be present for this joyful and significant morning as we celebrate their commitment to the church and Christian faith.
