Adult Support Groups

Searching for Still Waters—
An Exploration of  Loss and Grief

Following the death of a loved one, bereavement is a complex journey. Choices that are made can be healthy or unhealthy. In this on-going group, these choices are shared, feelings are expressed, and ways to maintain a healthy connection with the lost person are explored.

When:       The second Saturday of the month.
Time:        10:00–11:30 a.m.
Where:     The Middleton Center
Leader:    David M. Reed, PhD
Cost:          no charge

The Bullpen—
This successful men's support group will have new focus: STRESS

Studies show that men generally feel stress from five issues: 1) each new decade of life: 2) death of a loved one; 3) divorce or other major family change; 4) diagnosis of a serous health condition; 5) decline in the ability to live independently. Those who go it alone have the most stress. Those who share with concerned friends learn from each other and do much better. This is what the Bullpen offers.

When:        The third Friday of each month.
Time:         10:00-11:30 a.m.
Where:      The Middleton Center
Leader:     Dr. David Reed, PhD
Cost:          $20.00 per session

Labyrinth:  Walking the Labyrinth on the First Thursday
