Christ Today?"
Congregational Hall. Led by the Rev. Dr. James Carter. Join us during Lent as
we ask "Who is Jesus and why does he matter in our lives today?" We will use
William Placher's book
Jesus the Savior
as a starting point for discussion.
7:40-8:00pm Compline
Service, Sanctuary.
This year during Lent, we encourage you to take
time out of your busy schedules for this special weekly service. The night
prayer of Compline is not only spiritual but also practical: as a sole point of
calm in a hectic week. Darkness - heavy silence greet those who enter the
sanctuary. Candles offer the only light. Shortly before the service begins, the
church bells begin to clang. And then an unseen choir begins to sing...
