General Services

Inspired by and an extension of the Board of Deacons, the General Services Council provides assistance to all who visit our church community. We try to touch the lives of everyone we meet.

Our Council does this by providing:

Ushers to meet, greet and seat visitors at worship services
Worship recorders to distribute CDs to those who cannot attend service due to age, illness or other circumstances
Parking attendants to ensure safety in the church lots
Flower arrangers and distributors of the weekly altar flowers to the sick and bereaved
Transportation shepherds to help the residents of Rosemont Presbyterian Village attend worship
Communion preparers to present the holy sacraments for blessing and sharing
Blood Drive organizers and callers to get the donors out for our annual drive
CPR/AED professionals to teach ushers and interested members proper emergency response
Sunday morning volunteers to answer questions at the receptionist desk
First Aid monitors to check the status of our safety and medical devices
Disciples to recruit others to serve in these areas
In response to our Christian calling, we give of ourselves in many different ways. Regardless of how we give, we receive.
