| RISA (Reinvest South Africa) works to alleviate poverty and unemployment in South Africa by supporting the development and sustainability of small businesses in low-income communities. RISA recently launched a new Small Business Capacity Building Program with two exciting grants. One grant is providing the Executive Director of the Pastoral Preschool and Crèche in Soweto with the management training she needs to offer critical daycare services to low-income parents working outside the home. Another RISA grant is providing a small powdered drinks company run by a black South African woman with the packaging materials it needs to market its products internationally.
