Friends of Forman Christian College (FCC) is a private non-profit corporation created by Forman Christian College (a Presbyterian Church U.S.A. related college located in Lahore, Pakistan) to help achieve academic excellence. Friends of Forman Christian College also provide a link between the college and the Presbyterian Church USA’s members, congregations and governing bodies. The mission of the Friends of Forman Christian College is to secure funding to provide scholarship assistance for Christian and Muslim men and women students, faculty financial support to attract and keep professors who have earned PhD status, and missionary personnel.
Volunteer Opportunities: Study and Prayer for Forman Christian College through Sunday School Classes, Presbyterian Women, and other church groups. Trips to Forman Christian College are encouraged and the college welcomes members and groups from congregations to travel to the college and present special topics of interest in the various disciplines offered through the college’s course offerings in the arts and sciences. Scholarships are our most vital concern. Congregations and their members are encouraged to support the financial needs of both students living off-campus and students having a need to live on campus. Faculty Recruitment through your congregation and community network of friends and associates. Forman welcomes recently retired faculty members or professors interested in a sabbatical or short term teaching assignments from colleges and universities in the United States to teach a semester, a year or possibly longer. In today’s changing missionary sending efforts throughout the Presbyterian Church USA, your congregation may choose to send one of your members to serve in faculty or administrative role at the college or help support a missionary from the denomination to serve at Forman Christian College.
