Mission:
NEST is an interconfessional Protestant Seminary concerned with continuing education for pastors and church workers. It welcomes candidates from other Middle Eastern Churches, as well as those who have a special interest in Biblical and Islamic Studies in a Middle Eastern context or those especially interested in the Ancient churches. It was formed in 1932 by the merger of the School for Religious Workers in Beirut and the School of Religion in Athens, Greece. It is under the auspices and support of four mainline Protestant Evangelical Churches in the Middle East.
