Mission:
The Pastor of JL Zwane Presbyterian Church is The Rev. Spiwo Xapile, a former BMPC Missionary-in-Residence. Situated in Guguletu, a township east of Cape Town, South Africa, the church has been an important witness to Jesus Christ for many years including an active role in the anti-apartheid movement. Currently the congregation is a vital worshipping presence in the community as well as sponsoring HIV/AIDS Ministries including education, hospice care and advocacy. The congregation also sponsors after school programs for young people in the church and community.

 Volunteer Opportunities:
There is a great need for volunteers to assist. This too can prove very expensive as it sometimes takes a lot of time to get volunteers trained but such help is greatly appreciated. Financial assistance can be provided in general to the church or funds can be dedicated to a specific project.
