Presbyterian Children’s Village - $2,000.00
Presbyterian Children's Village provides
residential and community-based prevention, child welfare, therapeutic
and educational services and programs to help heal the spirits of
children, families and communities in crisis. This year's PW benevolence
will provide funding for enrichment activities for teens in the
Residential Treatment Program.
Interfaith
Hospitality Network - $1,000.00
IHN provides shelter in local churches, general education and
classes in parenting, budgeting, job searching and other skills to
enable homeless families (mostly women and children) to become
self-sufficient, educated, employed and located in permanent homes.
WePAC Open Books Open
Minds Library Initiative - $1,000.00
WePAC’s Open Books Open Minds Library program is working to improve
literacy among West Philadelphia students by rehabilitating,
