Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church traces its roots back
to 1880. In that year the ladies of the young church formed “The Happy
Thought Circle.” Mrs. Josiah Pearce was the first chairlady. The
Circle was the forerunner of “The Women’s Association, know today as
“Presbyterian Women.” 
As we worship together in this special service we
will recognize and honor past BMPC Moderators of
Presbyterian Women which began in the early 1940. Bryn Mawr
Presbyterian Church has one of the few Presbyterian Women programs that
are a growing, active and vibrant organization. Women of all ages will be taking part in both services. So
let us celebrate together as we lead all of God’s people in worship.
