What About the Logo?
Leaves,
branches and trees occur throughout the Bible, representing God’s
faithfulness to humanity and our responsibility to care for
creation. Beginning in Genesis with the tree of life and returning
to it in the center of the city in Revelation, trees function as
Scripture’s bookends. This imagery culminates in Jesus’ death upon
the hard wood of the cross and his being mistaken for the gardener
upon resurrection. Recognizing this garden motif, our "In the
Garden" logo features branches with flourishing leaves, reminding us
that "the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations"
(Revelation 22:2). The circle symbolizes God’s everlasting love and
the interconnectedness of creation.

He that hath an ear,
let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that
overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is
in the midst of the paradise of God. (Revelation 2:7) |
