LENTEN
HANDBELL VESPERS
On Sunday, February 21, 2010
at 4:00 p.m., BMPC’s handbell ringers will perform "The
Creation" by Don Allured, which is based on God’s Trombones,
a poem by James Weldon Johnson.

ANNIVERSARY CONCERT.
On Sunday, March 14,
2010 at 4:00 p.m. the Senior Choir will perform Paul
Winter’s Missa Gaia, a jazz work whose title translates
to "Earth Mass–a Mass in Celebration of Mother Earth."

ARTS
FESTIVAL.
Sunday, April 18 through Sunday, April 25, 2010. This
year Fine Arts presents a week-long Arts Festival centered
around the "In the Garden" theme. The Festival will begin with
an organ recital presented by Philippe Lefebvre on Sunday,
April 18, at 4:00 p.m. which will include an improvisation
based on the creation. On Wednesday, April 21, Fine Arts
will co-sponsor an educational event with the Adult Education
department. The conclusion of the Festival will be celebrated by
two performances of Aaron Copland’s In the Beginning
performed by the Bryn Mawr Chamber Singers, and Benjamin
Britten’s Noye’s Fludde (Noah’s Flood) performed by
combined Children, Youth, and Adult Choirs. The performances are
scheduled for Saturday, April 24, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday,
April 25, at 4:00 p.m. Also as part of the Arts Festival,
you are invited to an art exhibit opening of recycled art on
Sunday, April 18. Organist
