Welcome to Children's
and Children’s and
Family Ministries at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church offers an array
of possibilities that transform and nurture faith development in
children – a chance to know God and not just know
about God. Education is
focused on programs and service that invite fellowship, engage in
mission, cultivate imagination, make room for wonder, enable
relationships and celebrate our ministry together by encouraging
faithfulness in children through all of life. Each Sunday, we
welcome children in corporate worship. This gives a rich
intergenerational experience as we hear the good news of God’s love
in Jesus, share our traditions of ritual and together be a thankful
community of praise. Our Sunday
School classes from ages 2 years through 5th grade provide for the
many ways children learn, and include workshop rotation models, art
and music, as well as Children and Worship, a unique worship
space environment using multi-sensory materials and biblical
storytelling through the church year. Childcare for infants and
toddlers is also offered every Sunday. What a joy it is to witness the excitement of children as they discover their part in the ongoing story of God’s love for and work in the world. Come and join us as we share the joy of living the story of God’s love. All are welcome!
