BMPC member, Betsy Miller leaves for Johannesburg, South Africa on July 30 to present a poster on "Health and Safety Consultation to a South African Early Learning and Child Care Center" at the 26th International Pediatric Association Congress (click here). The poster explains the serendipitous Child Care Health Consultation encounter at Pam's Pastoral Center Pre-school and Crèche during the 2007 Senior Choir Tour. Betsy will spend 3 1/2 days at Pam's Crèche to teach the children & staff proper hand washing procedures, oral hygiene, cleaning & sanitizing. Betsy thanks the church members who helped raise funds to purchase toothbrush holders for Pam's Crèche.

This will be the Reverend Rob McClellan's last Sunday with us. He leaves to accept a call to serve Tabernacle United Church in Philadelphia. Please join us on the front steps after the service to say goodbye, wish him well in his new position, and to thank him for his ministry among us.
This will also be the last Sunday for Lindsey Evans, our Youth Activities Director, who is taking a position as the Director of Middle School Ministry at Village Presbyterian Church in Kansas.
Make sure to welcome our new Lilly Residents who started their ministries with us this week: The Reverend Louisa Watkins Umphres and the Reverend Joanne Fong.

Informational Meeting for BMPC's Summer Camp at Lake Owego
Sunday, July 25, 9:00 a.m. in Gloucester Room.
Meet some of the camp leaders and learn about BMPC's camp experience for rising 6th & 12th graders in the Poconos, August 15-21. Camp is always an outstanding week of faith, fellowship and fun and we want all of our youth involved.
We'll explore our faith through great worship and small group time and enjoy arts and crafts, woodshop, games, free time with friends, and so much more. The week is an incredible experience for adult volunteers too!
Register by July 31, click here. Questions or unable to attend the meeting? Courtenay Willcox
