Wisdom of the Single Person

~ For Men and Women over 40~

4th Tuesday of the Month (March 25, April 22, May 27, June 24)

7:00-9:00 p.m. Witherspoon Parlor

This “Wisdom Circle” offers the opportunity to explore the deep and often untapped wisdom that resides within each one of us. Being “in circle” suggests a safe place to be seen and understood, a place where we can give voice to our inner wisdoms and creative juices.  As we grow in community, we bring our questions, explore core values, share our life stories, bear witness to each other’s joys and/or sorrows, and discover a place to stretch the edges of our love, devotion and faith. Rev. Debra Sutton and Susan McClellan, Facilitators. Fee: Donation.

Photography captures what might ordinarily have escaped conscious vision or sight in any given moment. Add poetry and prayer and you have a workshop intended to help us “see” the extraordinary in the ordinary, to see in the organic what God might see. This practice is a unique method for self reflection, personal and spiritual growth.

Susan McClellan, Facilitator. Participants will need: a camera. This program does not require artistic skill or ability. Workshop fee: $125 per person. Mail to: Carol Schmidt, Bryn Mawr Presbyterian, 625 Montgomery Ave., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010.
