Adult Education
General Adult Education information:
Our adult education programs, under the auspices of the Adult Education Council, are designed to help us:

Deepen our spiritual lives and grow in faith
-
Explore the impact of religious faith on daily living
-
Acquire knowledge about the foundations of a Biblical faith, the basic themes of Reformed theology, key elements of Presbyterianism, and contemporary issues
The Adult Education experiences we offer are broad and varied, and include Bible studies, short term topical series, retreats, and fellowship discussion groups. Some classes are repeated periodically, and some classes require preparation (homework!). All classes are rich in subject matter and in intellectual Christian community. It is our hope that on Sundays, you will attend both worship and an Adult Education course. Childcare is available for most programs.

We are also advocates of independent study, and encourage you to visit our Converse House Library, and/or the Book Center in the Court of the Ministries Center near the reception desk. Both carry an excellent selection of spiritual and theological books, class texts, Bibles, hymnals, and selections for children.
Church members and guests are welcomed. We look forward to supporting you in the process of strengthening your faith through knowledge.
