Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church Associate Pastor Nominating Committee:
Associate Pastor for Youth, Their Families, and College Ministry

The APNC for Youth thanks you for your continued prayers for the spiritual guidance we need to discern how best we can serve the Lord and our church through the process of nominating a new Pastor for Youth.

We have been hard at work.  Over the course of our tenure, more than 100 Personal Information Forms (PIFs) and expressions of interest have been received and reviewed.  APNC members discuss these in confidence and evaluate each submission for continuation of the process.  Committee assessments are based on the Pastor characteristics identified and published in the Church Information Form (CIF).  The 100 PIFs led to a dozen phone interviews and five on-campus visits.  Additional steps in the process include checking references and seeking staff and the Presbytery’s Committee on Ministry input.

We have had strong candidates, but at this point we haven’t found the right person for this very special pastoral position.  As more PIFs come to us, we continue to seek the Lord’s guidance as we continue with his/her work.

APNC members are also reaching out in other ways searching for potential candidates.  Should you know someone we should consider or know someone in a position to know of a potential candidate, please share your suggestions with anyone on the Youth APNC.
